AFS - if I do my self input on my FY22 goals and submit to manager for a review this week since my project ended, what do I do in May when I have a different project? Will the same fy22 form get submitted with me adding more self input to it or do I make a different copy of that original form and reconcile somehow?Accenture
I have an offer from Mercer to join as module lead with 12.5 fix CTC and annual incentive plan which is not clearly mentioned in offer letter. My joining date is 31st October so as per company policy anyone joining after 1st oct won't be eligible for appraisal cycle nor for annual incentive plan..which makes my package 12.5 lacs for next one and a half year.
Not sure if it would be a wise decision, current CTC is 9.08 lacs Mercer

One coming to Jesus talk. If that doesn’t work, fire them and pursue your lien.
I or our partner would reach out and have a conversation with them that they hired us for a reason and we are experts in these matters and while Google is a great tool…it isn’t going to represent them in Court. We usually tell them to cut the Sh.. and when it continues (because it usually does in mass tort with popular cases that are in the news) we cut em lose and carry on.
By demonstrating that they don't. It's easy and tends to make them calm down fast.
Remind them that this is what I do for a living and is all I focus on every single day.
^ dealt with this a ton. They called all of the time nonstop, complain that it’s taking too long to settle, fail to listen to me when I would explain why their case is only worth $25-30k and their “emotional damages” are not worth $1million.
My favorite is when (usually older, less educated) male clients would rebuttal with “well my cousins wife is a lawyer and she said (this)”.
Be straight with them . The more they challenge your ability, their case drops lower in the list of priorities.
I once had a potential client tell me they wanted to sue a hair salon for emotional damages because they gave her the wrong hair color; mind you, the owner said come in anytime you want and I will fix the stylist’s mistake for free.
When I said her case wasn’t worth pursuing for her own sake, she said “my daughter is an attorney and said I can get at least 40k for this” and I said “if your daughter can get you 40k, I will come and work for her for free just to learn from her”. Weirdly enough I never heard back🤷🏽♂️
