How do you know when staying loyal stops paying off? I’ve been here long enough to know the systems, the people, and the politics. That used to feel like an advantage. Lately it feels like I’m taken for granted.

Loyalty rarely pays off. If you've been there long enough to have gotten a promotion or raise and haven't, there's your answer. If you're feeling taken for granted, it's probably because you are.

Staying or being loyal to a company NEVER pays off.

Loyalty stops being worth it when you can make more money elsewhere. Start looking at job listings to see what kind of salary increase you could get by being the new hire at another company.

What are your thoughts on invoking the rule of sequestration at a deposition in a case in state court? I have heard some attorneys argue that it is inapplicable, while others have argued that it does apply.

And does your answer change if the "extra" person is adverse to the deponent? For instance, a corporate plaintiff having two reps at the defendant's deposition.

Did first set of redlines for a partner. Have ten years experience doing what this partner does but I am new to working with him. Said I did about a 7 out of 10 on that job. Not sure how to feel about that. What say you all? :) Keep in mind I asked for a 1 to 10 because I cannot talk to him about it for a week or so.

I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. Any thoughts?

Hello everybody,

Could you please recommend companies with Internships in Front or Back End Development?

I just had an L7 sdm interview with Google. Seemed to go very well except one of two system design interviews. The one went great and one went ok until they asked me to estimate the cpu/ram/server needed to handle the workload. I could give a great answer. We shall see.

Can anyone give me their honest opinion on working at Eli Lilly, the Indy site? I have a few coworkers that have worked there in the past but no one recently.
