Hello my fellow shoal of fish. I am seeking recommendations for a lounge chair in my office. I currently have the adjustable stand desk and a relatively comfortable office chair (not when reclining) but the other half of my office is empty. Im putting in a 55” tv and need a recliner, lounge chair, or something of the sorts to put in front of the tv. Something where i can put my feet up. Conference calls are such a drag when i have to sit at my desk.

Interested in renting a furnished apartment with 1 bed + den or 2 bedrooms in West LA. Lease takeovers welcomed. Does anyone have any leads or suggestions where I can start looking?

I am an associate at a UMM and my employment contract has a 4 month non compete (yes, even for associates) but I am thinking of lateraling. What are the implications of breaking a non compete? I didn’t say anything when I signed because I was desperate for a PE offer but it seems so unfair as I am just a lowly associate. I am not so much worried about getting sued, but about my current employer tanking my reputation if I leave and break the non compete.

Curious what anyone thinks about cologne? Is it a turn on? I am not really into it.. but I just got a whiff of this dude at the gym and the cologne did something to me 🥰 It was really subtle. Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.
