Depends on the industry, type of skills and if there is a client net expectations that resources are locally available (eg when more generic skills). In most cases not an issue when specific/ specialized skills. However if more generalist experience the local resources would get priority.
Doesn’t for me since my travel is pretty much the same everywhere out of DFW, but have seen it affect team members who were similar and one was closer/cheaper for travel
Haven’t seen it yet. Was on a project where it cost three of us 1k each to fly from the east coast every week.
Not at all, live in Los Angeles, been staffed everywhere including Canada.

Never did for me. I still traveled transcontinental.
Usually for junior roles, we will look for locals first.
