How hard word it be to transition from my now job to an entry level PM (can be coordinator, assistant, etc.) currently working for a MBA w PM specialization and towards a CAPM?? currently working in taxes

I just recently joined a small organization that I have wanted to be a part of for the past 2 years, accepted the role of general manager. This organization knew that I don’t have general manager experience, no payroll experience, no experience setting prices, no purchasing experience and today, 6 days after starting, I have been asked to step down due to not being confident that I will be ready in 3 weeks…

Hello, I’m a certified occupational therapy assistant and looking to utilize my bachelors in healthcare administration to transitioning my career into a more non-clinical role. Ideally I’d like the flexibility to work remotely. However, I’m having such a hard time landing an interview. Is anyone good with helping transition resumes from clinical to managerial/administration?

Anybody want to summarize the core concepts of ASC 842?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Anyone else extremely disappointed in the raises they’re giving us after the results of the CPA? My hardline informed me today and I instinctively went to LinkedIn to look at new jobs.

These numbers aren’t sustainable, especially with the amount they’re paying poachees from other orgs and what I’ve seen from other companies.

I’m 6 month pregnant with a good amount of lower back pain that gets worse with standing and walking. Insanely, I’d like to take my 2 older kids to Disney before the new baby arrives. My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
