How has everyone felt about Anthem’s approach to remote work during the pandemic?

Anyone else already dreading to go back to work?😩 just imagining losing more sleep by having to drive in on some days and then deal with pumping at work is giving me anxiety. Wish I could just work from home forever or figure out another way to make money..

I’m a breast feeding momma trying to find a wfh because pumping at work is too much. So for right now I’m working as a banker looking to work at a fintech company. Doing something in operations or finance. I have about four years of banking experience and three years sales. Any suggestions of fintech companies or what positions I should be looking into?

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? Sounds at least toxic.

How many hours a week do you actually work. Sitting in front of a screen working? Also. Are you remote, hybrid of 5 days a week in office. Just gauging other peoples lives ahaha

DXC joining is on 26 th July and Bosch I have given date of 27 th July.

$325k TC at MBB in a non-generalist (still partner track) path. Love the intellectual variety, smart colleagues, flexibility (WFH has let me take occasional 2-3h windows during the day for personal activities) - can’t take the stress anymore. Are WFH industry roles at the $300-500k TC level really that much less stressful?

Just landed a full time gig, looking to get some furniture so I’m not working on my parents’ kitchen table during this remote period. Any recommendations for desks and chairs? I’m hoping to find something that’s easy to assemble and break down for when I need to move, and something that won’t cost an arm and a leg.

I know everyone has a different kind of setup that works for them. I currently have a laptop, drawing pad, second monitor, and a desk riser.

So I've been at my job for 5+ years as a data analyst/back office support team. I made my way up into making a little over $40k. I've been WFH the past 2 yrs and overtime more than half my team has now been pulled out to work for a diff department which resulted in me taking 90% of our daily tasks to handle. Is it a wise decision to move from big4 to WITCH companies or mid sized product companies like Arrow electronics, Emerson just for the sake of pay rise.
