Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?

Fake-it-till-you-make-it is all about (1) exuding confidence whether or not you have depth of expertise and (2) finding an audience, especially among the powerful, that is enamored enough by your confidence to overlook your true lack of expertise.
On account of (2), I feel minorities and other under-enfranchised groups struggle a lot more because they don’t have enough people like them in positions of power to put up with their fakery.
This sounds like a terrible way to live. Maybe I’m just not a phony.

Do most of these folks have upper class backgrounds?
It’s only worked for me if I have that expectations pushed on me by my leadership team. If they want me on a project that is a stretch for me, I’ll “fake it until I make it” because I trust they see something in me that I don’t see in myself and that they will have my back so I don’t fail.
On my own initiative though, I tend to be avoidant of risk. I’m a foreign born immigrant so I feel like if I don’t know something 100% I’d be judged harsher for it.

Fairly well in the sense that I am driven to actually ensure I have a solid base for my skills, and seeing the number of people who rose to the top while never bothering with it has given me the ability to "fake it" with my confidence until I actually "make it" in getting a handle on my imposter syndrome.
I feel like all of life is just “fake it till you make it.”

I hope these folks are “senior consultants” hired for some other experience 😁
