How high a base salary can go in a big bank? I’m not referring to the total comp (TC) but only base salary before bonus... I assume the highest it can go is up to the CEO’s base but, realistic speaking, what is the maximum i should expect or better put, dream as a potential base salary? I’m currently a SVP, it is somewhere between a VP and a director.

I currently make a TC of 210k in Midwest region working in cloud architecture consulting. I looking to find my next role outside of consulting while keeping or increasing my TC. Has anyone been in similar situation and what type of roles and companies should I apply? I’m not looking to move to a high cost of living area

I like the location of Deloitte/EY more but the Accenture job seems more fun (actual consulting vs more IT audit). But, Accenture is not in the city I want. 

Hi guys, I got an offer from x and i discussed that with my current. At 1st current said they can only give 30% increment. I said I can't stay with this cause i got 70% and expect at least 50%(as the 70% included VP and the current org don't have vp, they have bonus). Then they said they can do max 45%. I really wanted to stay here so I said okay to current. Then now hr called me and said they are matching the offer(no vp). What should I make out of it? What made them change their mind?

I have successfully cleared the Skill 1 and Skill 2 interview rounds and was now expecting that the next would be the HR round.
I have been mailed that there is there is a third round before the HR round that is going to conducted the next week.
