Just get practice outside of your job and put it on your resume anyway. You can tailor it to your existing job. A masters will not do much for you. Better off switching to another job for more pay.
I personally view getting a graduate later in data science for the information. I learned that the amount of education wouldn't guarantee the jobs i was aiming for. Have you tried working on projects with others? I know some groups that are networking form across education levels to build their portfolio.
Masters would help you to pivot your career into something else. If you want, Analytics Masters at Georgia Tech is pretty cheap to get online. You’ll learn a ton about engineering and analytics!
If you want to be more technical, I would just do more trainings (Python, SQL, data viz/analysis, etc.) and get certified (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
While you work with your team, try to understand the technical side of things (pipelines, tech stack, data flow, etc.) and be curious!
Getting my masters was the best thing I ever did. When "everyone" has a bachelor's (I realize not everyone does), it really sets me apart. Last time job hunting with a Bachelor's and summa cum laude honors, it took 87 rejections. Now, I'm job hunting with a masters, and I've put in 3 applications and got an interview within a week, in THIS job market.
