8/3 Thread (General):
Hi,
My last working day was 11th Nov and I submitted my asset to TCS location and got the Initial release letter as well. Later on 17th or 18th of Nov, I got a message from TCS that they have sent the Packing material through Vendor, please accept it.
I didn't accept the material and cancelled it when the delivery boy came to my location.
So, is it going to create any problem in getting reliving letter? Share your thought please

It’s doable. I passed in TX on my first try. I had mediocre LSAT and did decent in law school. You’ve got this!
Also, it’s okay to cry. Make some time to let off some steam.
Now that I’m practicing, I have a treadmill that I bought on Amazon. I think it’s called egofit. I could have easily stood up and walked on this while listening to AdaptiBar videos.
New 4th year here. I’m transferring from my firm’s DC office to the LA office in a few months. My firm gave me 2 weeks off before the CA bar in July. Not going to lie, it was rough. Lots of nights from midnight to 2-3am studying, but I tried to space it out over about 2.5 months. Got through it and passed (just found out recently). It sucks, but you can get through it!
Around 8-9 depending on stuff to do. The really hard part was staying focused and finding motivation to study that late at night. It’s not sustainable for long, but doable for a bar study period. Best of luck!
Are you getting PTO?
@AA2 someone above is getting 9 weeks RIP me haha
My firm offers 9 weeks paid leave to study for the CA bar as a lateral. I’m banking on that.
@A6 I have 2 weeks haha

Hello! I just did this and found out I passed the Ca July 2021 exam. You’ve got some time and starting sooner rather than later is idea. I worked as needed but didn’t ask for additional work. You can worry about hours after the bar. It’s easier to explain low hours than a bar failure. I used AdaptiBar, critical pass, and be essays.com. I was generally a normal student in law school and even failed the ube my first try. It’s beyond me that I passed the first try on Ca but I genuinely think that the pressure helps. Feel free to do me.

I should add, I also got 4 weeks off and took a few additional vacation days.
I did the part time BarBri course over like 8 months. Mostly weekend studying and took 3 weeks off before exam. Can’t imagine doing more than that.
I studied while working full time - took me 4 months of casual studying (and pain)
