Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!

Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

I developed really severe depression while I worked in Tech Risk at EY and had to take a medical leave of absence to address it. I would not recommend working in Tech Risk - leaving and getting another job was the best decision of my life
Ok thanks for your perspective. I know big 4 is a great experience and the experiences can vary a lot team to team. Appreciate your perspective. I am glad that you were able to make the right decision for yourself. Health which includes mental health is really the most important thing
Some of them are incredibly friendly and supportive. I did not feel any pressure from anyone to be cut-throat or competitive, rather it was a collaborative environment. During busy season, the hours can be long, but you can manage your own schedule to make sure you are taking care of your mental health.
Thank you for your perspective
I won't say it's super cutthroat in terms of professional firms/client serving, but tbh not sure if any jobs are really compatible with depression. Good luck
Well thanks for your perspective
Which office or at least section of the country? Some of the FSO tech risk offices are great others less so based on the ppmd in that area.
That was my concern but I took the job and I’m one month in. I get anxious everyday that I’m doing everything wrong. I like the Pay though
