I am a Branch Manager of a small scale staffing agency. In this position I started recruiting for skilled labor and home health positions. I have now moved on to recruiting for medical positions and administrative positions. I also manage a team of recruiters, complete payroll, AR/AP, and internal hiring . I am looking to switch to a Senior Recruiter role and have no idea what I should realistically ask for salary wise, does anyone have any recommendations? I have 5 years of experience.

I had 3 interviews for a non tech role and moving to HC. Later realized that I used the same answer for two “tell me about a time” questions (the questions were similar). Is this going to be viewed negatively by the hiring committee?

I made it to Big Tech, i feel I’m less creative and less empowered. I’ve had my roots in startups where I took charge, wore multiple hats, and had little resistance. Here there are a lot more processes, work is uninspiring (working on smaller features) - just feel undervalued. But the money is significantly better :/. Is it like this in all big tech and all big companies it’s in general? The startup level teams I’ve seen are bloated - messier and more restrictive than actual startups.

Thoughts on masters (computer science) in Machine Learning / AI from top 10 school (not CMU/Stanford/MIT)? How will that be viewed in industry? Not concerned about tuition cost or opportunity cost of foregone wages. Not interested in self learning but would like to spend my career working in ML/AI.
