USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

No idea what Bain1 is talking about…you generally get a few days to a week to make a decision, but this will vary and is stated in your offer letter. If you want a higher salary than offered, I would recommend a phone call with the recruiter where you lay out what you want and why you deserve it. Be prepared for the company to not match your offer, so typically come in a bit higher on your ask, but obviously make sure it is a reasonable ask.
Bain tripping 😂
Usually within one week or two, but consider the fact that you might not be the only person with an offer. Hedge your bets accordingly.
Consider offers as a portfolio. A base salary is only one aspect of it. After that there’s position, career trajectory, potential for raise, bonus, benefits, PTO, education, etc. Anything can be considered in negotiation if base salary cannot be contested. Come prepared with facts and points for your case.
One week. No negotiation as salaries are on a very specific scale. You want more? Then argue for a more senior title. Otherwise, work your butt off to get promoted faster.
