Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

I'm not sure myself. I'm burning out a lot faster than I thought I would. Kind of craving a simpler life with a regular 9-5.
Rode the wave for 2 years and just left for more pay and WAY (seriously I can’t believe how much more) more work life balance. I moved into Sales Engineering at a Cybersecurity company.
i’ve been in for almost 3 years and def planning an exit imminently
I’m just completing 2 years and I am leaving but who knows where the future will go
It’s been 1 year and I’m leaving in a few months
2 years is about standard tbf. So don’t feel bad. Attrition at most big firms is built to be around 20% a year at lower levels to keep the pyramid right. Leave when you want! You’ve got some skills, seen some cool things, and can exit to something good. Had a friend at Bain less than two years and they got a strategy position at Fortune 500 that is more chill than Bain and higher paying and the JD wanted like 4-5 YOE and an MBA. So just go for it if you need out
Wow everyone here is leaving so quickly lol. I've been in consulting for 8 years and I haven't made a plan to leave yet. This is the first year I've seriously considered it and I need to figure out if it's the right move for me.
Every day I wanna leave bro
Exiting on Monday!
