I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

My BRO has an offer from ATOS as a fresher. they've mentioned in the offer letter that there'll be training period of 24 months(reframed version of bond) and also they've mentioned that there'll be penalty of 70k if he wants to leave before this period. Is it compulsory to pay this penalty? Or is there any way we can avoid this, he wants to leave in case he gets a good job offer from other company. I am supposed to join PwC India (management consulting) in 3 weeks. PWC offered me a 23% hike on base pay which was fine 2 months back.

Now in efforts to retain, my firm is revising pay and will probably match that hike and there will also be a 20% bonus.

Can I use these data points to leverage a joining bonus from PwC? What are your thoughts?
