What’s the wlb like at VCA?
Bain & Company Contemplating a move from Accenture Strategy to Strategy&, or Monitor Deloitte. Part of my consideration is the assumption that WLB is likely to be better than at McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, or Bain & Company. Could any of you fellow European fishies shed some light on the validity of this assumption? Sharing experiences would be highly appreciated.

Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

I now work 40 but coming up, long hours were expected. I had two breakdowns. I won’t allow myself to do that anymore. Talk to your boss but s/he may be doing the same. I do know managers are more receptive than they used to be. No one wants that kind of life.
5 accounts is excessive and so are those hours. I work an average 45-50 max. Usually aim to stay within 40-45. You are definitely going to burn out. I’d bring this up with your manager.
There should be peaks and valleys in this biz. Some weeks are 35-40, some are 55-60. If you’re consistently working 55-60 that’s a recipe for burnout. Definitely not the norm.
I was working around the same hours or more but my director never flagged even when I have mentioned it. Definitely gonna be burnt out.
I work that many hours too
