just wrapped up my final round experience hire interview for bcg’s associate position. had a partner in r1 but project leader in r2, seems to be different from most people’s experience where the interviewers get more senior as it progresses

Was thinking about this before you posted it. It is not the content of the work that is killing my soul- it's the environment- bogus performance reviews, no sense of community, piles of unnecessary BS
I guess what concerns me is I'm almost hard wired to get bored after 2-4 years of doing something. Always wanna try something new. But then you look at a resume w all these jumps and you get concerned about what the next shop is gonna think. It's a maze you never make it out of
I'm the same way. That is why I like being in consulting. You can make radical changes while staying at the same company.
I'm with you. My last years projects has killed my soul. Not sure how to get out without screwing my network
Look at some industry roles. People think they will get bored but I had more variety in industry than consulting
