How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.

I’ve got it.
It’s a backup now as usually other chains have a better property where I stay and Bonvoy treats you like shit comparatively. Focus on hitting hyatt globalist and keep Hilton Diamond or gold because it’s easy. If it were still SPG and had the reach I would probably spend more than the 15-20 nights I now spend.
I have lifetime titanium. It's liberating in the sense that I don't care so much about loyalty programs anymore since I can stay 0 nights and still have that status. I find myself more willing to try smaller chains or local properties where my employer might have a rate and may be nicer than the more generic big name chains.
Bonvoy is general isn’t great with value anymore, but I like their footprint. Thinking of giving Hyatt or Hilton a go though.
I am there and thinking of doing the same
I just got Lifetime plat this year but for the most part it’s not that useful unless I’m on vacation or something in a foreign country where it means more. The only thing that would motivate me to stay at Marriott is just price, or if I decide to qualify for titanium again for the united silver status.
I put most of my stays towards Hyatt since being globalist actually means something still.
Most on here seem to agree on Hyatt as next brand to buikd up status with
Yeah im lifetime titanium elite - im using marriott as backup but now hyatt is main
Got lifetime titanium. Thinking of switching but don’t travel enough right now so it’s not a priority
Rising Star
My dad is Lifetime Titanium and has switched to trying to get Lifetime Diamond now. He’s also going for 2M miles with United.
Oh! For Hilton. I thought it was Marriott and thought I was missing something haha.
I’m already doing Marriott and Hilton now based on whoever is giving the better promotions - maintaining diamond/titanium at both
I don’t see myself changing anything any time soon. I’d love to do Hyatt, but I’m so rarely staffed near one that it would be next to impossible
Lifetime Titanium and switched to Hyatt for several years until a couple of projects that are nowhere near any Hyatts. Honestly, there are too many elite Marriott members, so they really don't treat you all that well, so they have become my fall back chain.
