U.K. 25 + ability to buy 6 extra. Believe it goes up to 28/30 at M/5 years service

Not sure and have not looked at it or tracked for quite a while. Work- take time off when needed (but work on and off even then). Great flexibility in consulting.

I recently received an offer from a new firm. I informed my managing partner ab it. He offered me slightly more $ to stay but still didn’t even come close to what I’d be making. I then gave him my 2 weeks notice and accepted the offer with the new firm. All amicable. I had 2 vacation days scheduled, which the firm knew about for months and happened to fall within my last 2 weeks. While out last week, they then told me to not worry ab coming back in and that I am terminated. Thoughts on this?

Is Data Scientist at Deloitte a good move if my goal is short-term experience building (2-3 yrs) while looking for another move to a better WLB company? 4 YOE in Analytics, but feel like I've missed out on certain soft skills (ex: prioritizing, presenting, managing client expectations, etc) not being in a consulting role + I've plateau'd with basic analytics hence the move for DS.
