Eventually, someday in distant future, that MAYBE possible. But an AI will never be able to go in front of a client and decipher needs based on not only actual recruitments but perceived requirements. Also, not off relationships. We're safe.
But AI can create dashboard and client can decipher the data, like self service BI....
Exactly, and I think with time it will get there... Let of jobs at risk.. Time to be an engineer lol
Have we seen a commercially viable and proliferating Turing test passing machine. If so, I concede.
The technology for AI will only get better and better every year. Lots of jobs will shift to systems administrators of AI systems.
EY1 - Theoretically a perfect AI would be able to do exactly that. The most important test of AI is the Turing test. If a person can interact with an AI without realizing it's not human, it passes the test.
OP - but the question isn't just what tech jobs will go away... because if real AI is created, literally all jobs will be at risk. An AI could become literally anything, including an engineer to build other AIs.
Hm that's true, just not sure what people will do... Lol
No EY1.... it's definitely still sci-fi... but it's not hard to see the technology getting there someday. Probably even in my lifetime, if I had to guess.
