U have listed too many markets. Narrow it down

like

Average Senior 1 at Deloitte makes about ~70, senior 2 ~ 72. Then you add 4-6 in bonus. OC is about the same. Had a friend in Vegas, their seniors hardly break 60.

like

Senior 1 in LA makes $75k

like

BDO1 - you get offered more when coming from outside. Your raises going forward will be lower such that you will be in line with current salaries

^this is for the LA office.

Going into my second year as a senior in Vegas. Currently making $70k. However, I’m at a National firm FWIW.

like

I think so cal high performing senior 2 get 80-82 plus bonus. Average prob more around 72-76

It should be upper 80’s. I had an offer for 78k for senior 1.

Not enough!!

30F, thinking about separating from my marriage and looking at cities I could move to. Currently working in ATL and I’d need to come back at least once a month(prefer driving) since I’d still be working/based here. Ideas on affordable yet fun cities? I make 120k right now & I’d prob take the dog with me. TIA! 💚💜

Hypothetical that I'm trying to quantify for myself. Say I make $100k and feel I can comfortably spend $2k on rent. Assume for arguments sake, I'm happy at this level with savings, social life, etc. I get a raise to $120k. What can I now afford in rent? A) $2.4k. I got a 20% raise, so I can spend 20% more in rent. B) $3.6k. I got a $20k raise, so I can spend $1.6k (rounded) more in rent. C) Somewhere in the middle Traditional thinking tells me A is correct, but it seems conservative.
