What salary can you expect after exiting from an MBB after 2 years no MBA? Looking at strategy/operation roles in NYC and SF at FAANG and other tech companies (e.g. Airbnb, Uber, Lyft)
2 years ago I decided to chop my salary for WL balance, and it worked - depression became manageable. But losing all that $ and momentum was painful. My current job is in Covid danger, but I’m also in the final rounds to return to double the salary, but double the work. I don’t know, what a shitty choice.
Think we'll see more than $500 extra in bonus for headcount being down so much and having to pick up the slack for the same medicore pay?
What are the Pracitioner factors that go into your bonus again? Trying to get a guess. Performance, level, promotion year, what else? SC, Not up for promo, $117k, GPS HC
Advisory Senior Consultant (Been here 2 years, and just made Senior) in Texas with salary of about 65k. How does this make any sense?
EY just assured that there won’t be any workforce reduction. Also no performance bonus this year. How do you feel? (Me: I am proud that we always put people first)
Got an offer with 30k raise but it requires relocation to Detroit from the west coast and I really really really don’t like the place. All my friends are here. Is it worth it to take it?
Anyone else think companies have convinced us salary is a taboo topic only to help the top get away with unequal pay. base salary should be standardized and bonuses depend on performance (chargeable hours, project reviews, hours charged to internal codes).
I just watched the San Junípero episode of Black Mirror and the closing song was Heaven is a Place on Earth. Then I tuned on Pandora and THE SAME SONG STARTED PLAYING ON IT I’m freaked out now.

What's your worst traveling route. Mine - Ord to Den then 2 n half hour drive to Wyoming. Mon-thurs :-(
Need a break from travel. Anyone heard of doing 3 years consulting ---> 2 years industry strategy role for F15 company --> MBB? Have a verbal, sick of PwC, considering it...
Ask people to work during their days off or while they are sick makes employees resentful. True or false?
Deliotte wants to extend offer but cant make it official until the COVID 19 pandemic calms down. Can someone tell me a salary range. I have a TS/ SCI already and will have my MBA in nov. CONT'D

Which museum in NYC around midtown is best for 1 yo. Planning a day out in the city around midtown. Things to do in this weather with a 1yo baby??
For pre-MBA associates (A-A promotes) in restructuring, are exit opps any different than those for post-MBA associates (which are apparently very limited versus analyst opportunities)? For anyone currently at these shops, any advice on how to move to a distressed fund after a year or two?
Just started job at big 4 after having been at boutique for one year, but just received email from MBB asking to schedule 1st round interview. Going to take the interview with MBB - any advice (cont)
Currently at Big 4 management consulting post-MBA. Have offers with MBB and FAANG (strategy). Similar comp. Which would you take?
If it were the right opportunity (in terms of salary, title, etc) would you accept a job offer at a new firm given the current/near-term economic climate?
Deloitte sm here with approved i140 with eb3. Firm filed it when I was a Consultant. As per policy can I now file for AOS? Seems date is valid for 2014 now. Any thoughts on our stupid eb2 and eb3 policy?
Do you have to provide pay stubs for recruiting process? Recruiter asked for comp info, but I declined to provide. I don't mind them verifying employment, but don't want offer based of current salary
Honest and serious question: how is deferred compensation legal? How can firms unilaterally decide that they are going to defer earned pay for upwards of 8+ years?
For Big4 consultants who work in the government sector with a clearance, are you still working remotely because of COVID or are you required to work in person at government buildings (i.e. pentagon, etc.)?
Why does everyone hate indexed annuities? Who would turn down the potential of 12% annual returns with a guarantee that they can't lose any money, all for free and even a bonus?
