JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

A three percent raise is barely keeping up with inflation, and a lot of people would argue that's not even keeping up at all with the cost of goods and housing these days. I think anything above 5 is pretty good, but anything lower is almost losing you money year after year
I think that the best way to move up in salary is to move to a new company. I've jumped 20% moving jobs, whereas I've never gotten a raise more than 10% (and that only happened once!). I totally agree that even 5 is too low, but it's at least better than 3. I think it's probably best to start looking elsewhere
Our raises are typically pretty low, in that single digit range. The only way to get more money really is to move on to another job. There's even a name for that phenomenon, it's known as wage inversion.
I never knew there was a name for that. I honestly came to the conclusion that you must change jobs for anything significant. Only thing is with my company some jobs even with different titles are a lateral move meaning your pay will stay the same which sucks. Have you ever experienced that within your company ?
Yea so generally we get about 2-5% unless you get a promotion as well and then you might get closer to 10%. But usually the average raise is about 3%. And for some people who work here that is less than 50 cents every year. Its ridiculous how hard we work for such little raises every year.
