*#AThousandThankYous to the front line workers*
Our nation saw a disheartening surge in covid cases. Amidst these tough and painful times, the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff continue to work day in and day out for our safety, our lives.
Calling you to join hands, as we raise funds to show them a token of gratitude with a small care package.
A ray of light to those who deserve #AThousandThankYous 🙏🏻

Can this week please just end?
Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

Hello!
I finished my final round(s) for a TAM position at Google (GCP) last week and was told by my recruiter that my feedback was great and that I made a solid impression on the team and am "firmly in the running". I was supposed to hear back this week (according to the recruiter) but he just told me that it's still in the process and that I'll have to wait for another week or so.
Is this common at Google ? I have heard they are notorious for being really slow with their hiring process.

40%! Sure would be nice however unless you are significantly under paid that's not an easy number to hit.
My last job change I got a 43% raise, I was under paid however had great stability and work life balance. I want from gov to public sector, more pay at the cost of more work and less stability. No free lunch!
Looking at DOGE I am glad I moved!
Previous job changes I got a lot less. Bottom line, 40% is great however I have changed jobs and states for less than 20% and been happy about it. Pay raise isn't the only reason or factor to consider. Maybe you want to move jobs to be closer to family, be in a better school district, have a shorter commute, work less, have less stress, get into a new field, leave a stagnant job, etc etc
Yeah I changed my job also because we want to try a different city. Before I was under paid for a long time but great WFH and culture
Jeez that seems high? Are we talking within the same company or moving companies too?
