Would you be kind enough to refer me to a role at Google!
Came across a role that's a good fit. Would ideally like to target it through a referral and not by applying through the career site.
Would also love to maybe take you for a meal or alike to thank you for it :) Google

Don't join BNY, it has worst WLB and people are not much supportive.Chennai team members are worst and take undue advantage. All are working on old technology. You will not get to learn anything new.
Chennai people are worst and pune people are made of diamonds ? If you had one bad experience don’t judge entire city based on that. I can speak truth and then it will be hard for you at the receiving end. It’s a fintech banking company. What did you expect to work on latest tech ? While certainly I don’t know about your experience . I’m working on all the latest tech including cloud,ML . It will vastly vary depending on team . But again they are developing an engineering culture and things are going to change rapidly
Not very secure. Take decision wisely
Thats why I did not join. They do layoffs thats what I heard. Even glassdoor says so.Not every people are bad performers
Its the same in every oganisation I guess. Everyone gets warning, get through to PIP stage, given chance to switch teams or move to another business unit. Then still if they dont perform they are told to put down papers. This time period is definitely more than 6 months which a candidate gets. But you wont see that written in Glassdoor, Google, Ambition box etc. so much. Its not what I am telling. Its the people of BNY who were employees who have written in a global platform, my point is not everyone is a bad performer. I have my own reason of not joining and I just told what I did. I think everyone can have their views. Thanks and stay safe. Happy Friday 😊
If you are based out of Pune, there will always be a risk of getting fired, as Pune people are first in line, even, if you are not fired, you will get the lowest rating, and it would be near impossible to stay post that rating, I can say from my experience, in my 4 years in BNY Mellon. It should anyway be the last option, For salary also, they might hire you at a high package and later on no hike for at least 2 years, I got my first hike of 4 % only after 3 year, that too, despite getting met expectation every year.

Hello we had last lay off in 2018, after that this was the first time we had it in 2023 . And in this India was very less impacted compared to other countries. We even do active hiring heavily that’s why you got an offer. Only the best of the worst people got fired as far as I have seen . If you do your job , you will never need to be worried about Bny Mellon
This really helps.. coz I am not afraid of performing or put in extra efforts in my job but when news like random firing comes this scares everyone.. just don wanna be in that situation hence the question
Agree not very secure and keep BNY as last option
Very often
