Our pay increases are fastest because we have direct out of undergrad -> EM...you could make partner before 30 if you wanted. Our perks are worse than BCGs though (1st class flights for them oh any flight >1 hr, our is >3.5 hrs). Food wise we get $100 a day while I’ve heard there is no limit really for them
Hoping to publish some data on this topic shortly. Please help contribute to the following survey. We have more than 350 responses, but I’d like to cross 500 before sharing. I know you didn’t ask but capgemini would be last
Cap1, what business unit are you in? Most I know still get bonuses, but A/B bands don’t get bonuses. I agree that our pay and raises can’t compete with the others mentioned though.
If you include benefits the big firms will lag. They tend to be more cash comp focused. Some people also see work life as a benefit. So it may be worth more to work 50 hours a week and earn a salary of $100K than to work 70 hours and earn $115K.
I think the difference in hrs sounds close, but the pay gap is much greater than 15%.

Hey what about us 🖐?
We may not be major in size, but we are in pay.
Looking for IT internal auditors? Hit me up!
Highest paying: MBB
Tier 2: Big 4 and Accenture
Tier 3: Booz Allen
40 on the dot
Thanks but I wasn’t looking for a consulting answer trying to show off by ignoring the question and just asking something in return
... said every client ever
MBB are all similar and first by a significant margin, big 4 same tier but a clear step behind
Source: interned at big 4 strategy, MBB full time
@EY Hop on over to managementconsulted and take a quick read
Love the assumption that Accenture is in same category with MBB
I see Accenture on the same as big 4. Mostly to Deloitte
PwC is fantastic. They treat me very well and I like what I'm working on.
I've heard okay things about Deloitte, but it's digital side is apparently very slow to innovate. EY and KPMG aren't in the same realm.
I make more than my peers from BIG4 & ACN. Not really sure what Capgemini really is......
Always expanding in Strategy and the reorg is a bit of a clusterfuck so people are leaving and they’re hiring mor
Where do Kearney, Oliver Wyman etc. rank?
Not true for Germany :) Rank is as follows - McK BCG, Bain, OW, others
On RAs, no one can beat us
I would recommend steering away from Grant Thornton, pay is below market value and culture has changed significantly, it's like you have to work like the big 4 without the added benefits.
Pay varies greatly across different practices. My base is sub 100k for the Associate title with a PhD degree in a major NA office. Maybe because of my 0 year of exp though.
Wait a minute...what is KPMG doing in the list?
Accenture offers the lowest pay. The other companies pay at least 20% more.
