I am a big 4 senior with 3YOE that is considering a transition from external audit to senior internal auditor at a bank. When progressing to IA manager will my 3 years of external audit be taken into consideration or would I be restarting my career? Worried about progression.

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I’m pretty good at Salesforce and have thought about a SFDC admin type role, but that’s all I’ve thought of so far.

When an agency is about to hire you as a creative lead but without seeing your book to find out what you had done in your career, is that a red flag to you as a creative?

I've decided to leave public for an Accounting Manager position in private. What are the different types of companies to consider and the pros/cons? What are the best ways to get the position? I'm leaning toward GL accounting at a publicly-traded company. My background is 3.5 years audit and 2.5 years technical accounting advisory.

Hi all 8.7 YOE now, Joined wipro 4 months back with 26.5+1lac JB. Skills business analytics. My current project does not follow agile processes at all, very relaxed client. However what im worried is after 2 years would interviewers expect me to have handled a project all alone and acted as a product owner. Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range. What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.

I’m not from an English speaking country but I am watching a tv show and businessmen walk into a room and instead of greeting eachother, everyone says each person’s first name in lieu of hi, however in my experience working in the states, I haven’t seen anyone do this, it’s always hi or good afternoon or some other greeting first THEN they say their first name. is it also appropriate to omit the greeting?
