I am a experienced manager in transaction advisory services (financial due diligence), thing about going to industry but I am also wondering if staying in the firm till senior manager or director will get a better exit opportunity. Any advice? I have no interests in accounting type jobs and my current interests are in strategic finance. I am really curious what exactly should be the best grade to jump.

27, director at B4 in TC. been a director 6 months. Do people think an MBA would add value or just slow my path to partner?

I have been offered a position in-house at a $500M-$1B company, mid-sized city LCOL, 10 YOE in private practice. They offered me $120k, w opp for undefined discretionary bonus. No paid parental leave or 401(k) match & only 1 week PTO in first year (but claim they have discretion for more). Is there any way to salvage this? Salary guides suggest TC should be around $200-215k. I want to get my foot in the door but this seems crazy low.

Looking for insights from any seller at any of the hold co’s. I have an opportunity to join a new team at a hold co but I’m not sure if it will be a great move to make. I’m doing very well where I am, book of biz is thriving, but the allure of working at a larger company than my small company seems like a great resume builder. Taking a new role in industry after 2 years in public. It’s about a 70% increase from current salary and between 25-30% increase from expected salary after promotion to Senior (find out later today what my new figure would have been). It’s a remote position making solid money and interesting work/field. Just worried I’m leaving public too soon. Raises will be 2-4% in new role until promotion so I will catch up in public about 3-4 years from now. Thoughts?
