OP, message me. You need to go have a comp discussion with your leadership. I'm also in our Salesforce practice, and I'd rather see us give you a hike than go somewhere else. 30% might be high (I'm in that range as an SM) but don't go looking before you go have a chat with your PPMDs.

No problem SM1, from my friends who are SM/ PPMDs at D, I know it is very hard job. Sometimes the practitioners can “somehow” make it to SM, after that it is a challenge to get/maintain the numbers without putting lot of effort. (I just left D to increase my pay and change my career path, but I have lot of admiration and respect for the people I worked with at D)
Think it’s reasonable. Assuming you haven’t already crossed it off, could also consider working for SF directly…
Top M1s in C&M and S&A are paid $170-185k base, so you’re definitely underpaid if you’re effective at selling.
Just left PwC as a senior manager 2 at $185k in technology consulting. 14 total years of experience for reference .

You won’t get D at PwC from manager. I have no idea what hike you would get as it depends on what you come in at (we are on a cohort model). What are you expecting to make ?

You can easily hit $190k on the market but may need to be a bit patient. I just left D as an M there and am now over $200k. You are way underpaid so I’d push for an offer somewhere, force D to match then target something higher up in your range.
So I got it from a small company that is a startup. I had a 2nd client side role that wanted me at $185k base to lead an internal team and fully remote as a director (I took the sr director role which was also a better fit). I had a consultancy that was willing to go to $200k for me but I prefer where Im going. All this happened within 3 months of deciding to play the market.
Im not a software engineer but thats a great skill set. I would be shocked if you couldn’t pull the ranges I listed but it may take a little time to get that cash and a good role.
