I am an international student who applied to mckinsey. I was contacted by my home country office for a first round interview although I did not include it in my office preferences list. I am yet to speak with the recruiter regarding the recruitment process.
Does this mean that all the offices I've put up as preference rejected me but somehow passed on my profile to my home country office?
Will I only be considered for this office?

I am not sure if u should attend the interview or not at GDS.
When I shared this scenario with my EY IN HR, she said please don't attend it may create conflict and you may also get blacklisted.

EY GDS HR is like, you can attend the interview, there's no problem at all. We don't have such a policy. Please suggest what decision I should make.
