I am approaching 2 years at my current firm (senior at 2 years, hopefully) and am pretty unhappy with firm direction and my compensation. I feel like I am somewhat good at the job and I do love the work - think the main reason could be because I love my coworkers. I have 2/4 CPA exams done, plan to study for my next after busy season, and am a hard worker. What are realistic exit options/industries/titles I could look for after 11/15 that are good for my career development?

Manager at Cap Invent (Consulting). Deloitte Consulting offering same grade with 13% increase in base salary with TC (bonus incl.) getting to around 95k.

Is Operations paid the least at your respective firms? I was hired to a Client Service Delivery role with a heavy focus on project management. I regularly interface with leadership internally and at the client. But, I am aligned to the “Operations” capability and make the least of my teammates who perform seemingly identical work but are aligned to “Strategy and Consulting.” I worry I’m on a career path to being paid the least wherever I go, because Operations is in my title and background.
