I am at a Pharmaceutical Tech startup and we are hiring!

We are looking for Product Mgrs who have 4+ years of exp in client facing roles where you gather requirements, design solutions, work with developers to build the solution, test the solution end-to-end, and deliver to the client. The work itself is very similar to what we do in consulting but you don't have to worry about firm activities, utilization, etc.

Compensation is highly competitive

Hey Just wanted to say I wish all PM role requirements like this. So many PM roles I got turned from because I don’t have 4 years of product experience when I have crossed off everything on the list a PM does in my consulting job. So thank you.

I didn’t necessarily build products, I design and built solutions. Automated reports, system health checkers, pre-canned dashboards for go-to market value for 3 years. But that gave me cross functional team, agile delivery, end-to-end delivery experiences.

I am interested. But it seems the role may be junior? Do you have any director type positions here?

Sorry, we don't have any Director level positions open at this time

Currently building AI products. Does that count?

The important thing is being able to turn client asks in to a reality. Our product is a web application.

What about 3 YOE?

Three years might be ok if you were doing product management work all three.

I bounced from consulting last year, but very much hate my current role. The company is well known and large, but not very transparent or concerned about treating employees well. Thoughts on how to handle? Give 1 week notice. Give notice 1 week before vacation and offer to work 1 week after vacation. Don't want to lose my 7 PTO days.

Looking at exiting to a F500 company (Rank ~300), for a director of strategy role, with my manager reporting directly to the CSO.

The pay is identical, plus stock RSUs on top. WLB is much better (8-5 job), and work is more interesting.

They require relocation to a LCOL (less desirable) city. I'm thinking of asking to work remotely for the first 6-12 months (to accommodate wifes job), and fly in every other week (coast to coast flight).

Is that reasonable to ask? What else should I consider?
