I decided to take applying for external opportunities more seriously. I understand it is insane out there. How do you get yourself organized for this? Do you keep an excel sheet? Do you have a target of how many applications you send out in a day? I am asking because I was applying earlier this year and got burned out real fast. I needed to pause and re-think my methods. PM interview goes typically with current domain, design xyz for abc, guesstimate; whereas in actual job you have ‘n’ no. of constraints to build, leadership priority , sufficient time to think etc. What are your thoughts?

Can someone explain the difference between FB’s Partner Solutions Manager and the Strategic Partner Manager? From an initial recruiter call, it seems the SPM provides the consultative product recs while the PSM onboards the client onto that product and tracks performance to provide actionable recs as needed.
