It has been 2+ weeks since I completed the Interview & Psychometric Assessment rounds with Macquarie Group , but yet to hear anything from them. I also followed up with HR but with no response. For the record, the interview went well. Any idea if they usually take this amount of time to get back? If I got rejected, why not communicate directly?
Tata Consultancy Infosys Cognizant Wipro I have completed all the technical and HR rounds and salary discussion, documents submission also done. But all of sudden got mail from hr saying that my profile is kept on hold. Any possibility that I will receive offer letter or it will be in hold forever? Meantime can I attend interview for other positions in hcl?

I've been trying to update my resume with my last 5 years of experience and I'm completely overwhelmed. At this point I just need to hire a resume writer. I need someone who can talk to me about my experience and actually write the resume, not just edit an existing resume. Does anyone have a recommendation? Is ResumeSpice worth the money?

Are you looking in public accounting?
Are you moving for a particular reason? Seems like you are very focused on one area. Unfortunately, not the best situation for COVID graduates.
Might just be timing right now since it's busy season. I know I'd rather have an experienced person come on at the moment, but since you've had the internships that would definitely be in your favor as opposed to someone with no experience at all. Where are you located?
Rochester, NY right now but when I graduate I’m moving to South Carolina so that is where I’ve been applying
If you have any recruiter contacts try asking them - they may be aware of vacancies or opportunities that are not obviously advertised.
I have just accepted an offer I found via a recruiter that wasn't advertised on my new employer's website
That does make it a little tougher. I think there is truth in the cliche that it is easier to get a job when you have a job so don't be afraid to temp or take a bookkeeping/accounts clerk role for a bit while you apply for a tax role with decent prospects.
Good luck! You will find something!

See if kpmg is hiring in South Carolina. Or if the jobs you are looking at look entry level, you might be fine with your accounting degree.
Thanks!

It’s definitely not easy to study while working, but definitely doable if you’re willing to put in the late hours/weekend study time. I was lucky enough to get 2/4 parts done before I started full time. I would suggest studying before you start working for sure, if possible.
