Yes- it is sad . I hope something lands for you. I have been job searching for over a year- ghosted and tons of rejection form letters. Sometimes the turn around for a rejection letter is less than 24hrs and makes me wonder if it is even reviewed? I also have numerous years in my field in Social Services.

The results with definitely have you wondering and upset. I need a dose to open because my mental, physical and anxiety is to bad now. Im already dreading tomorrow

I am in the same situation. I've applied to over 100 positions and I have been rejected from all of them. I honestly don't know what I am doing wrong. I am starting to believe that it's true ageism rearing it's ugly head.

Ouch hun! 🙏 Same here...it's so frustrating and I too have folders of tweaked resumes that now feel like a complete waste of time and effort. 😳 Good thing I'm stubborn.. and know when it's time to just say to h*** with it and go for a walk to reset...

AI is taking lots of jobs, good luck to you

It is for me as well. I say this humble; I have a master's degree in healthcare administration and I can even get an interview.

Yup,,welcome to the club, be strong and cary on

My strong is gone because this is not even the department I got hired for. A employee didn't come back after lunch so they put me in her department after 2 weeks of me just starting with the company.
A 2 floor mental health office doing every single bit of admin functions you can name and some clinical functions too. They get mad when i ask for help and then everyone goes in their offices and closes their doors. I have been doing Admin work since 2005 the change of the work force is insane and for this to be a mental health position....omg

You sound like an employee anyone would be lucky to have. I can say as a hiring manager (I do my own screening, interviewing and hiring), that often a poor resume will be the reason I don't reach out.
I would run your skills and job history through a resume builder, expert or even ChatGPT and see if it can pinpoint some problem areas that could cause you to potentially not get calls.

"Ghost" job postings unfortunately are a real thing that causes a lot of wasted time and hard feelings. The purpose behind them is greedy and laziness. I wish there were an algorithm that could easily showcase them as a known or suspected Ghost ad!

That said, jobs ARE getting harder to come by and people are sticking with jobs - especially good ones, now rather than job-hopping.

Good luck to you!

Hello!

I am being tapped to translate documents at work. I’ve done spot translation audits, and 1 larger Quality assurance document earlier this year, but was recently contacted about a potential large-scale translation initiative for next year.

Has anyone been compensated for these sorts of projects that would be “out of scope” for their role? How do you go about asking for compensation? Have any of you spun out and created translation service side-gigs?

I have a MHA, MBA, and BSHA. I’m wanting to get into a supervisor or manger role but I don’t have the experience. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I dive in and start getting the experience I need? I live in Washington and work in Oregon. Also, anything using my MBA would be favored as well, this degree is not healthcare specific. Thank you!

Hello, I’m currently looking for a non clinical position in the Charlotte area, more in the public health field. Does anyone have any referrals or info on any jobs?

So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change. Because I am able to “pick up and go” I’m open to opportunities and locations. I’ve never worked with a recruiter but was hoping I could get some recommendations!

The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

Hi all! I recently accepted a remote/hybrid RN position to try something new. Majority of my experience is at bedside. The pay is less than bedside (as a traveler), but more than a staff nurse. Are there any RN’s that left bedside for a remote position that can give advice on the work/life balance? What pros and cons do you encounter?

Hello there! I currently work in billing at a medical office. I got my Bachelors in Psychology a few years ago but I couldn’t find a position that seemed like a good option for me that was well paying and fulfilling. I tried working as a tech at an Applied Behavior Analysis clinic but it wasn’t a good fit. I’m hesitant to try case management or social work because I worry I won’t like it but I want to use my degree in Psychology. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
