If we retuned to normal I’d agree with it being some time next year. In the background, there’s a lot of discussion around what the future looks like regarding Corp footprint, location strategy and travel expenditures, etc. The pandemic is being leveraged as the path for Corp expenses to scale down on a significant level. What was hoped to be achieved over 10 years or more set the stage to be completed in a year or 2. What was, is not what will be.
Sorry to hear that. Wishing you the best in your job hunt.
Yeah I think the consulting bowl is more up your alley.
And dayum son. I didn't know our Sr Managers got paid so much.
Thanks. Yes there is a lot of overlap in the bands and tech jobs have a higher band, eg a level 5 in TTS or data science has a higher band than a level 5 in merchandising

2) Family Life / WLB - I am married, working spouse and two young children - I work 50+ hours/week now, which is OK. How does that compare to typical AAG hours?
3) Comp - right now I get ~$250K TC with base + bonus + RSUs. I was told bonus for AAG is ~15%, so I need a pretty high base to even match my (no travel) corporate job. Any idea on how high is too high to ask for a base salary?
4) Career propellant - ultimately I like working in this specialty, my thoughts are that working at MBB may help improve my "brand recognition". I have read that this is true in more typical corporate jobs, is it the case for analytics / technical jobs also?
Thanks all
Not sure you’re in the right bowl for this. This is about pivoting careers in general.
Are you in consulting? There are people in law, advertising and teachers in this bowl too - it sounds specific to consulting so you might get more answers there.
