Hi I have been at the same company for 6 years its pretty much a dead end. I have a interview next week what is the best answer for; why do you want to leave your current position
For me, I told them there were changes in the current company that I didnt align with and the values of the new company aligned more with me.
I think it partially depends on your location. Are you in a HCOL or LCOL area? Will you be salary or will you have OT opportunities?
The average pay for that role is 76k. Depending on where you are living, for an HCOL area, the pay can rage from 90k-175k.
Thank you! This was helpful.
You may want to ask the HR manager or owner what the salary range is because salary depends on the company’s budget, size, your prior experience etc. Because the position has a personal component to it I would expect the pay to be higher but this is not always the case. Find out as much as you can from the hiring team on salary and expectations and negotiate if you are selected for the position. Just be sure the salary is worth what you are willing to do.
It is in a higher cost of living area. There is an opportunity for overtime but they cant give me an estimate of how many hours of overtime to expect.
