Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

I wouldn’t do BU as a BU JD/LLM alum. It’s great if you can do it concurrently and for no extra cost with your JD. However, the LLMs did not seem to do very well in recruiting.
NYU/Georgetown are great programs. Northwestern is certainly worth considering if you want to live in Chicago or Florida if you want to live in the south.

I’ve known many successful tax lawyers who have LLms from BU. Of course NYU is the best if you can get in, followed by GTown and Florida. To answer your original question, BU requires all applicants to have interviews. It’s neither a good or bad sign, it’s just part of their process. I had the interview, I can’t remember what the exact questions were, but I’m sure they were like “why do you want to do our tax program.” I don’t remember any of the questions being hard or any technical questions.
To clarify, I'm certainly not saying that people who got their LLMs from BU can't be successful. The school you go to doesn't indicate how skilled you are or will be. It's just *significantly* harder to benefit from an LLM from BU.
I know some VERY successful attorneys who have graduated from Southwestern, NY Law School, etc. It's just way harder to do.
NYU and Georgetown are the only ones worth their value outside of the schools market for networking reasons.
Yes, can confirm
Don't do an LLM at BU. NYU, maybe Northwestern. If you want to do family office/trust and estate - FL. If you want to do government - Georgetown. Other than that, tax LLMs aren't worth spending the time, and certainly aren't worth the money if you're paying for it.
Agree with EY 3. Georgetown above Northwestern.
Northwestern is good for the midwest, but Georgetown and NYU both should give you those opportunities as well.
Florida, while ranked higher than Northwestern is a little different because they are a _bit_ more regional than NYU/Georgetown. The program is also more focused on estate/private wealth/etc.
If it's between Florida and Northwestern, and you don't want to be in Florida/southeast or Chicago/midwest, I'd probably choose Florida just because it's a little more well known, and Northwestern is still a somewhat new program.
Do you have an MST? Maybe a MST JD combo program can accept old credits?
Coach
No the LLM is only for JD’s. The MST is for accounting majors.
Would Ey reimburse you the tuitions?
Coach
I heard mixed reviews on that.
