I am joining RBC in first week of January as director. But I have another interview lined up in January with another team at RBC for senior manager. My preferred role is senior manager because it aligns more with my career goals. Can I join in first week of January and move to another team in few weeks if offered a role, considering it will be a demotion? Im fine with demotion but is it allowed? Can’t ask recruiter/HM because they are on vacation and I need to decide if I am joining in January.

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. No commumication was done over email. Was he a fraud?

Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?
