Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

By far the most important is the “tell me about you”. You get to sell yourself so have a compelling story about your choices and trajectory, emphasize the traits you want. Ppl want to be sold, this is where you sell yourself as the impressive winner you are :). Have your metrics on methodology, pipeline and war stories ready. This has become key in evaluating fit. Doing your homework on why ppl buy from the co. you are interviewing a with is huge because you can cast your experience in context to that to show both your thoughts and process as well as making your success extremely relevant.
Definitely what's said above but equally, any examples where teh strategy had a clear payoff. There's lots of people out there that can talk ad nauseam about all the different ways they would approach strategy but what they want to know is - how are you gonna help us grow this account and get more $$? What have you done that proves that (and what made you different than others)
They may ask for your take on competitive landscape
They might hit you with questions like how you handle big accounts, your experience with pharma, or maybe even a curveball on problem-solving. Get ready to share some success stories and how you tackle challenges. Prep-wise, know your resume inside out, do a deep dive into the company, and practice answering questions out loud. Wish you all the best.
Thanks everyone!
