I am looking to obtain a role as a business analyst. I was previously in sales as an SDR and quickly realised it wasn’t for me. I have obtained 2 BA certifications, BSC BA foundation and practitioner. I’m really str off this job search as it is a new industry. I’ve worked hard to ensure my cv is well tailored also. I’m vey worried that this job market in combination with my lack of BA experience has put me in a very negative spot. I would really appreciate any advice or networking opportunities.

How difficult is it to start a solo firm? I’m a first year attorney working in insurance defense in Florida. I love my firm and the mentoring I’m receiving and I’m definitely not looking to move anytime soon, but I would love to start my own firm once I feel competent. Maybe in a few years. Help,I started a new career n the events industry and I think I have to quit! The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department. On day 2 I was asked to go to a job site and perform a 12 hour day without any training, safety equipment or tools. On day 3 I was asked back to site to do general labor! I ended cutting my hand on an exacto knife and there was no first aid! Is this normal?

I am happy to take on the additional role for my company, and they are going to let me. But they feel that without multiple people in a sales department the title head of sales might not be the best title. I have input in what my updated position title and salary would be.
