Not a certain timeline for me, but I can tell when things start getting busy, I need a break soon. Feel like I’m getting to that point now. Do you find a vacation out of the house better, or is that a lot of planning in itself? I stress myself out with planning sometimes.
I enjoy planning trips so it’s not bad. But when I’m burnt out and need an immediate decompression time I just stay home and do nothing.
I've never really thought about how long it takes. I guess I'd say somewhere around your range, maybe a little longer. I tend to take vacation or PTO every quarter or so, and I usually do it when I'm starting to feel burnt out.
Same here! I just noticed the pattern recently

For me I’m at a near constant burn out
I support a project that’s on a massive campaign so I’m on call 24/7 for the foreseeable future
I def need a break
On call 24/7 sounds stressful. Hope you get your break soon
It’s been very busy since the year started and my role expanded. I don’t know that I feel burnt out just yet but I am definitely tired
Hope they’re compensating you for that
