Anyone with insight on Tyson Mendes?
Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

Get a job as a receptionist. Most companies will have you do other duties, which will gain you the experience you will need.
Agree with this
Start with a staffing agency!! That’s how I got my start. They can get you started as an office assistant as you build your other skills. In some cases, they may place you in an administrative role simply because you passed their assessments. That’s what happened to me.

I also say start out as a receptionist. Easier to get a job as its considered entry level. The skills are so transferable too, so it's easier to make the switch. Bonus points if you get in a company that has room to naturally progress within.
Taking typing classes or getting an certification as an office assistant will be a great place to start
I don't know where you live but a lot of community colleges offer low cost and sometimes free office asst/admin asst training programs.
I agree - contact an employment agency and talk to a recruiter. You are probably most likely qualified for receptionist/office clerk duties at this stage however, being computer literate is a must. I would get my foot in the door and take classes for all computer skill’s - especially Excel.
I’ve been an Executive Administrative Assistant for over 32 years without a college education and learned by doing. Much responsibility is on an Admin’s shoulders for those in her department. You can do it - just going to take work on your part. Best of luck - if I can help, reach out.
