Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

It's sad that companies feel they have to use recruiters. Businesses used to use their own HR departments to run the application/interview part of hiring. They would do all the organizing, the first read of all applications, then pass on those applications to the hiring team who would do the interviews. Recruiters are people who sell themselves to companies as "experts" in every field. They'll find you the "best CEO" or "best Radiologist", or "best Stock Room Assistant" - by some miracle they've become experts in EVERYTHING! They tell the boss, "Just sit back, we'll do the leg work, we'll identify the best prospects and schedule them for interviews", so a lot of those bosses will take them up on their offer to do all the time-consuming preliminary work. I fear that a lot of good potential candidates get weeded out of the process before they've even met the company hiring group. Some recruiter felt they didn't have enough related experience, based on their written application alone. Or felt that the candidate did "not fit well" with the Company. I'm not sure how they make that decision based on a paper resume or a single phone interview. People have to be together to make a proper assessment whether or not a certain applicant would "be qualified". You should concentrate on applying to jobs where you will be seen and interviewed directly by a company, through their own HR department.
Thank you for this. I will.
I will suggest you apply to multiple vacancies! Processing via many recruiters are slower than usual from experience. Plus I recently found out that some recruiters can not interpret resumes they are holding, any deviation from standard is problematic- Acronym especially.
