I applied for a Project Coordinator position and within a week I received an email for a Zoom interview. A few days later I received an email for an in person interview. I met with the Director and 4 other members of the department. Everything seemed to go well. I sent a follow-up thank you and then waited. Three weeks passed and I sent a follow-up inquiry regarding the status of the interview process. I received a response they were still interviewing and then I was ghosted. Seriously?

I’m in the biglaw hiring process through an outside recruiter. It’s so frustrating because he’s having these conversations with the firm and only paraphrasing the gist of them to me. He says he can’t forward the exact emails. Is that BS? Why can’t I see what the firm is telling my recruiter?

Currently our marketing team is of one (me) and we outsource quite a bit of other tasks as we continue to grow. With that said, one of the tasks I am currently involved with is creating weekly emails from scratch and I am pretty darn good at them. Yet so many people (several in different teams) have requested to review my work before it’s sent. It’s unnecessary and makes the job less efficient. How can I politely and professionally decline their request?
