I applied for Cloud strategy consultant role at Deloitte USI. Its been 2 days. While applying for the role, the portal asked for expected compensation. Will quoting higher compensation will cause any issue getting a callback for the role interview? Or is it something they would negotiate during the round. Please suggest

I’ve been working for a company for 25yrs, looking for advancement. I’m considered an SME, managing people, Vendors and working on large system conversions. Have provided long term goals. When requesting feedback I’m told I’m on the right path, no suggestions on what to improve. I asked about timelines for advancement and not being given anything concrete. Recently interviewed with another company as a Vendor Mgmt partner. Individual contributor, high visible position with potential. Thoughts?
