I applied internally for a position through workday at a different branch. My application status changed from "application received" to "Under consideration" within a week but after that it hasn't changed. It's almost been a month...should I email them?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I’m a creative / tech innovator applying to McKinsey and the other big four. However, I’m now concerned my limited on-the-fly math skills will automatically count me out. Seems like the interview process weighs on that. Im wondering if I need to hire a math tutor to help me get up to speed. It is my first professional health coach job & they did not require temps to have a coaching certification, but I have one. I’d like to know if temps could negotiate salary when given the job offer.
