Hi, I been working for Lloyds Bank for almost 9 years now , I recently attended a interview for Barclays and offered an Senior Business Analyst AVP role in Wealth and private banking area. I did not see much difference in the salary offered and it is pretty much same ie 68.5k.But the difference is current role is London based, however the Barclays one is based in Glasgow where cost of living is less in comparison. I am unable to decide whether to take the offer or not..any suggestions will be helpful pls.

Accept it and move on. So many things beyond your control and they would never tell you exactly why you were rejected (due to fear of lawsuits) anyway.
Hey OP, one time my first round zoom interview went so well that the hiring manager said we should skip the next round and fly me out directly on site. I didn't hear back from the recruiter for 2 weeks when she finally sent me a generic rejection email. It sucks, but we'll never know why and there are so many factors we can't control. But chances are that if you did well on this one, there will certainly be another great interview in the near future! Wish you the best with the search.
She called into the Zoom late and seemed annoyed from the beginning. I still felt like I answered all her questions well and we talked about a pretty rare certification I have that wasn’t listed in the job description but she said it would be ideal if the person they hired had this certification and experience. I just got a generic rejection email and I’m truly confused. There were 2 rounds of interviews left and I thought I would at least make it to the next round. It kind of seems like my rejection is based on her mood on the day because all her questions were focused on technical competency and I’m confident in all my answers. Unsure if it makes sense to reach out to the recruiter for more feedback?
Their loss. You would be working for that team manager wouldn't you?
