I don't get nearly that many emails as a shift supervisor... but i get overwhelmed with emails if there are to many esp when ive been on vacation. To combat that I've created folders in my email and have emails automatically placed in them so I can focus on them by importance. The nice thing is when your setting the folders as you select what's going in there you can have eveyou currently have in you inbox of that category moved so your currently full inbox would clear out as you create your folders and help clear the "clutter " down to easier to manage "piles".

Ah yes, the power of folders! I’ve been meaning to do that, automating sorting sounds like a lifesaver, especially after being away or during busy periods. Definitely makes the inbox feel less overwhelming.
I do my best to set aside about a half an hour each day to deal with my inbox. I don't like requests piling up, so I tried to tackle it daily. I treat my inbox like a to-do list and if it's in there, it needs some sort of action from me or else I'll delete it.

Some days it still feels impossible to catch up!
That is so many emails! I hope you get through them and actually get to enjoy your holiday break.

Thanks! I’m slowly chipping away at them..hoping to clear a chunk before the break so I can actually relax a bit.

Laughs in 211,438 unread emails ;) It is so hard to keep up. After awhile, I just give up. Most of it is SPAM, anyway. (Also, this is my personal account, not my work account)

Wow, that’s next-level! 😅 At least it’s your personal account, so no real pressure!
I can help you organize your emails if you wish. To save time for you. I'm good with email management, let me be your personal VA to enable you enjoy the holidays!
Do you have a site & what is your fee?
My work email: I read everything and respond as soon as I notice it's in there, delete everything that's just fluff and keep the relevant information in a separate folder
My personal email: I use Gmail which allows me to specify certain emails as important, spam, unimportant, or subscription. Spam automatically gets filtered out, subscriptions get sent to a separate folder, the important ones I read through and the unimportant I skim for important things I missed and delete the rest.

Wow, that sounds super organized!
Definitely need to try setting up those filters and folders.

These are so many emails to go thru. I would say ask for some paid OT to do the job.
