I currently have a claim with State Farm and it's cost me to have lost wages from my side job, and lost time from my primary insurance job. They are asking that I provide letters and proof of this lost time and they said more than likely it can't be paid out. At my side job I lost $6,000 of wages over the last 4 months because I haven't been able to work due to bulging discs. Is it time to get an attorney?

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. Getting life insurance so they drug tested me. Now they want me to fill out a form that basically asks me to certify if I’ve EVER done any of these drugs. What the? Who hasn’t EVER? What happens if I say never did? Idk my results from the drug test, maybe I smoked a bowl in the last few weeks, can’t say for sure. How does this work?
